From late on July 3 to early on July 4 local time, central Texas experienced several hours of heavy rainfall, triggering flash floods in multiple areas that destroyed roads and bridges, affecting an area exceeding 250 square kilometers.

According to reports by U.S. media on the 14th, the flood has claimed at least 132 lives, with over 100 people still missing. As the golden period for rescue efforts has ended, post-disaster cleanup and reconstruction efforts in Texas were fully launched on July 10.

Sany America swiftly responded, collaborating with Texas dealers and rental partners to deploy five excavators to the severely affected San Antonio area, focusing on post-disaster debris clearance operations.

Currently, the first batch of Sany excavators has been deployed to the core disaster area, undertaking critical tasks such as clearing road obstacles and unblocking drainage systems. Additionally, two loaders and one telescopic forklift are on standby, ready to provide emergency support as needed based on changes in the disaster situation.

Going forward, Sany will closely monitor the evolving reconstruction needs in the disaster-affected areas, continuously allocate resources based on local requirements, and support Texas’ post-disaster recovery efforts with more targeted philanthropic actions.

Across mountains and seas, great love knows no bounds. Sany is committed to becoming a company with a strong sense of social responsibility, continuously improving its global disaster response coordination mechanisms. Whether it was the rescue efforts following the 2010 Chilean mine disaster, the 2011 Fukushima nuclear power plant disaster in Japan, or recent international disasters such as the 7.8-magnitude earthquake in Turkey and the earthquake in Mandalay, Myanmar, Sany has swiftly mobilized its global fleet of equipment to provide emergency assistance, ensuring that “the world need not fear disasters.”
