The Yijun County bypass section of National Highway 210 is being accelerated.
The project starts at Shiliupu Village north of Yijun County and ends at Jinpen Village in Kuquan Town, with an actual length of 11.541 kilometers. The entire route must overcome challenges such as the treatment of 8 landslide sites, 833,000 cubic meters of excavation, 824,000 cubic meters of fill, and the construction of a 1,493-meter-long bridge. The project faces tight deadlines, hazardous geological conditions, and a heavy workload.
In early 2024, nearly ten XCMG XE200GA excavators, adorned with the “XCMG Gold” logo, arrived at the construction site as the project’s “pioneers,” taking on critical foundational tasks such as land clearing and excavation, formwork hoisting, and formwork pouring.
In the steep slope area between Miaoxia Village and Qili Hill, facing challenges such as dense landslides and narrow working surfaces, this engineering equipment, which is not afraid of harsh working conditions, demonstrated its robust capabilities.
Electronically controlled main pump on-demand oil supply technology: By precisely controlling hydraulic flow, composite action speed is increased by 15%, and hourly earthmoving volume is increased by 5%, saving the project more than 10 days in earthmoving operations alone.
PIC feedforward intelligent control: Real-time prediction of load changes, automatic adjustment of engine and hydraulic system power matching, reducing inefficient energy consumption by 12%.
1.2m³ ultra-large bucket capacity reinforced design: The bucket teeth are made of wear-resistant alloy steel, combined with an optimized bucket curve, improving the digging and loading filling rate by 8%, efficiently meeting the demand for 824,000 cubic meters of filling;
Exclusive EGR exhaust gas treatment route: By reducing combustion temperature through exhaust gas recirculation, it meets National IV emission standards without the need for urea addition, saving over 20,000 yuan in annual urea costs per unit.
During the excavation of anti-slip pile foundation pits, the XE200GA’s chassis remains as stable as if it were nailed to the ground! Its composite movements are smooth and lag-free, and the suspended seats and low-noise design in the cab allow operators to work continuously for 8 hours without fatigue.
To date, XCMG excavators have completed a total of 220,000 cubic meters of concrete protection engineering and foundation treatment at 12 intersections, clearing the way for subsequent bridge construction.
The Yijun section of National Highway 210, as an upgrade project under the National Highway Network Plan, will divert over 90% of freight trucks bypassing the county seat upon completion, boosting agricultural product logistics efficiency in Kuquan Town by 50%. From the Xiongan High-Speed Railway Station to the Yijun mountain road, XCMG excavators continue to empower national strategic projects with their exceptional quality and robust capabilities.
